Wine Review: This is a very different and enjoyable Chardonnay at a great price. This light yellow wine opens with a very inviting melon bouquet. On the palate, this wine is round, lively, has a touch of sweetness, and has juicy mango like flavors. The finish is slightly dry and subtle. This is a very enjoyable "Naked" no oak Chardonnay that really expresses its fruit. This is a wine that would pair very nicely with ham or sharp cheddar cheese and crackers. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: "Naked" is our expression for a No-Oak style of winemaking. The fruit was fermented in 100% stainless steel and left on the lee’s as long as possible. The wine was NOT put through malolactic fermentation, in order to maintain the natural acid balance. The nose is bright with crisp apple and pear laced with clove, mineral, and a hint of anise. On the palate, the Chardonnay exhibits crisp apple, white peach, and pear, finishing long with hints of citrus and mineral. "Naked" is made to go with food instead of competing with it. Drink Naked often!
