Wine Review: We recently tried this wine off of the Flemings "100 Wines" list. This very dark purple wine opens with a faint dark berry bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is round, dry, has its acidity in check, and is pretty complex. It displays dusty blackberry and dark chocolate flavors. The finish is extended and is nicely prolonged. This wine is a very nice match for grilled steak with butter and peppercorns. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Bright Red Ruby/black, brilliant Nose: Spices: oak spices, cedar, cocoa, coffee, vanilla. Fruit: cassis, black cherry. Palate: Fruit: Cassis, black cherry, coffee. Spices of cedar. Full bodied & juicy with youthful rich tannins & a long lingering finish.
