Wine Review: This wine has always been a favorite of mine and the 2005 kept up that tradition. This Very dark purple wine opens with a very pleasant multifaceted blueberry bouquet with spicy blackberry overtones, and musty black current. On the palate, this wine is smooth, well balanced, slightly dry, and delivers juicy blackberry and licorice like flavors with some oak influence on the back palate. The finish is dry, moderately tannic, and lingers for a little bit. Enjoy – Ken
