Wine Review: This winner from Le Vieux Donjon stood out as one of the best wine I tried at this year’s Boston Wine Expo. This dark ruby wine opens with a bright black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is juicy, round, smooth, and displays wonderful cherry flavors. This wine is very new world styled for an old world wine. The finish is very very dry and has noticeable tannins that linger for a real long time. This young wine needs a little time to fully express its full potential which is Excellent. In the meantime, we scored this wine as Very Good+ and suggest that you decant it and pair it with a NY strip steak. Enjoy - Ken
