Wine Review: I recently had a chance to try some of Ross Battersby’s wines. Of the 3 we tried this one was my favorite. This very dark purple wine opens with a light blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is round, nicely balanced, and supple. It displays nice rich berry flavors. The finish is very dry and has soft tannins that linger on for some time. This Syrah is very food friendly and would pair nicely with beef bourguignon. Enjoy - Ken
