Wine Review: This wine comes from 80 year old Grenache vines & 25 year old Syrah vines. There is something about old vines that generally leads to graceful wines. This ruby red wine follows that path. It opens with a light cherry like bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is well balanced, juicy, and has brilliant cherry like flavors with a little strawberry as well. The finish is quite dry and shows soft tannins that stay with you a while. This wine will pair perfectly with coq au vin. Enjoy – Ken
