Wine Review: This very dark red boasts an aromatic spicy black current bouquet with a touch of earthiness. On the palate, the wine is smooth round, has forward black cherry flavors with a hint of clove. It expresses bright acidity as well. The finish is dry, has spicy tannins that linger for a while. This wine would match well with grilled sausage or jambalaya.
