Wine Review: This Chard comes from 32 year vines in Santa Isabel Vineyard. It opens with a wonderful vanilla and light oak bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is round, with nicely integrated acidity, and a lightly creamy feel despite not having any malolactic fermentation. The flavor profile is sauve lemon like flavors with notes of light toasty oak and lime. The finish is dry and finishes nicely. This wine is very food friendly and would pair very nicely with cream based chicken dishes. This wine is definitely going to appeal to Burgundian fans. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Color: Clean and bright, light yellow. Bouquet: Rich and concentrated with layers of smoky fig, white peach and lime. Taste: Full-bodied with distinct minerality on the palate and a core of peach-papaya accented flavors.
