Wine Review: This opaque ruby red wine is a terrific bargain Merlot. This wine opens with a ripe black raspberry like bouquet with notes of blackberry as well. On the palate, this wine is soft, smooth, and juicy with pleasant blueberry flavors along with notes of plum and spice. The finish is dry with soft tannins that linger nicely. This wine is very approachable and a very food friendly wine that would pair perfectly with meatloaf or beef stroganoff. Enjoy this very practical wine. - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Color: Dark and deep red. Bouquet: Attractive aromas of black plum, smoke, herbs and mocha. Taste: Smooth with great structure. Fruity taste and full body. Chocolate and herb accents add palate interest.
