Wine Review: This wine shows stunning elegance. This is a terrific example of how a Tuscan producer can make a refined wine. If you are looking for a huge wine this is not the one, but if you are looking for a graceful and delicious wine to absolutely impress your guests, look no further. This ruby colored wine opens with a modest cherry like bouquet with a touch of spice. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is very silky, exceptionally well balanced, and elegant with delicious blackberry flavors with a hint of spice and black cherries. The finish is dry with ultra fine tannins that sail on for a really long time. So don’t wait to enjoy this gem. It is drinking perfectly right now. Invite over someone special and share this bottle over a grilled steak. It will be a wine and evening you will remember and talk about for a while. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: ILATRAIA, an intense, elegant and terroir-typical wine, is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Sangiovese and 10% Petit Verdot, all handpicked. It ages for 18 months in French casks. The name ILATRAIA has been the name of a hill on our estate for centuries – today it stands as the primary plot from which our Petit Verdot is harvested.
