Wine Review: This is a big Zin! It is built to last. This very dark purple wine opens with a vibrant fruit forward ripe berry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, smooth, with an immediate dry mouthfeel, and dusty blackberry flavors. The finish is quite dry and its big tannins linger for quite some time. This is one of the few Zinfandels that can do quite well in you cellar for a while. If you can’t resist, try this big boy with some beef stew. Cheers – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Deep blackberry fruit and big spice plus black pepper, a touch of chocolate and cola in the oak contribution. Richly textured in mouth, good structure for aging, long black fruit finish.
