Wine Review: This dark ruby colored wine opens with an attractive ripe raspberry like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, well balanced, and smooth with intense spicy raspberry flavors. The finish is dry and its young tannins are very lengthy right now. This wine would be best with sharp cheese or beef torpedoes. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Dark fruits dominate the nose and flavor profile of this wine. A surprising lift to the mid-palate keeps it feeling very fresh for a wine of this scale. While you can certainly enjoy this wine in a formal setting, it's an even better match for evenings in front of the grill arguing the finer points of charcoal vs. briquettes with a few old friends.
