Wine Review: This very dark purple colored wine opens with a port like scent with notes of black currant and licorice. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and juicy with soft dusty black current flavors. There are also notes of blackberry and a dash of spice as well. The finish is dry and its tannins are nicely prolonged. Our group felt this wine would pair quite nicely with a gourmet burger or grilled barbecue chicken. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: This blend is dark red, with crimson highlights and an intense, mature red fruit nose, with hints of (a local Portuguese herb). The palate shows great structure and a full-bodied elegance, with mature, round tannins, leading to a long, persistent finish.
