Wine Review: This very pale yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc from Sancerre was my second favorite wine that I tried at a recent blind tasting that I attended. It opens with a tart lime like bouquet with a hint of apricot as well. On the palate, this wine was light bodied, nicely balanced, and had a dry mouthfeel. The flavor profile was a tasty light lime and green apple blend. The finish was dry and refreshing. I felt this wine would be a very nice match with ham. Enjoy - Ken
