Wine Review: The 2017 “G3 Reserve” version of 12c Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas of ripe blueberries interlaced candied lavender and hints of dark cocoa powder. A briary fruit core is surrounded by powerful dark spices, along with a dense and plush mid-palate that is framed by a buttress of fine tannin. Notes of cardamom, creme de cassis, black currants seamlessly stream throughout.
