Wine Review: This clear and light hay colored Rolle (Vermentino) based blend from AIX opens with a poached pear and light cantaloupe bouquet with hints of Nilla wafer and lemon verbena. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with integrated plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, bright, and zesty. The flavor profile is white grapefruit pith and tonic water blend with notes of lime zest and stony minerality. I also detected hints of white pepper, celery, and herbal tea. The finish is very dry, and its flavors and acidity linger nicely. I would pair this white blend with fish and chips. Enjoy - Ken
