Wine Review: This hazy and dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Acumen opens with a ripe black cherry and cassis bouquet with hints of sandalwood, blackberry, and leather. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, polished, and seamless. The flavor profile is a very tasty cassis and blackberry blend with notes of stone dust and black pepper. We also detected hints of black cherry, tobacco, dark chocolate, and clove. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and its refined moderate dusty tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this Cab with filet mignon. Enjoy - KWGTP
