Wine Review: This clear and very pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from Acumen opens with a gooseberry and light lime bouquet with hints of grapefruit and lemon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated refined medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and delicate. The flavor profile is mild white grapefruit and stony minerality blend with notes of Anjou pear and green tea. We also detected hints of white pepper, lime, and a touch of vanilla. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. We would pair this Sauvignon Blanc with grilled swordfish steaks or with Wellfleet oysters. Enjoy - KWGTP
