Wine Review: This slightly cloudy and medium purple colored Merlot based blend is very good. It opens with a black cherry and black currant bouquet with hints of red raspberry, dried herbs, and cola. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is smooth and balanced. The flavor profile is gentle black cherry and mild earthy mineral blend with notes of baking spices. We also detected hints of strawberry licorice and a touch of toasted coconut. The finish is dry and its drifts away nicely. The Panel would pair this red blend with veal medallions in creamy mushroom sauce on sliced baguette pieces. Enjoy! – KWGTP
