Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Alpha Omega opens with an inviting mild blackberry and black currant bouquet with hints of cedar and tea. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, very smooth and very approachable. The flavor profile is very tasty black currant and blackberry blend with notes of stony minerality and oak. We also detected hints of black cherry and black tea. The finish is dry and its well-managed moderate tannins build-up a bit before drifting away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cab with a porterhouse steak. Enjoy - KWGTP
