Wine Review: This Malbec from Maule, Chile is a slightly hazy deep purple color. Its bouquet is a bit shy and presents cassis and dark cherry aromas, with hints of smoke, oak and anise. On the palate, it is a bit restrained, with a medium body and medium acidity, and is smooth and dry. Although the fruit drops in the mid-palate, it has flavors of plum and red berries, with some green herbs and light clove accents. There are gentle, fine grained tannins in the lingering finish with some remaining clove notes. It would pair nicely with a grilled flank steak with chimichurri sauce. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: Intense, lively ruby dark color. Aromas of raspberry and Morello cherry with floral notes introduce a complex palate with well-rounded tannins and great balance. The finish is intense and very long.
