Wine Review: This white gold colored Godello from Alvaredos-Hobbs is impressive. It opens with a quince and lemon zest bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is super smooth, viscous, and nicely balanced. The flavor profile is a gentle mineral infused Bosc pear and mild honey blend with notes of quince and white pepper. There is a hint of white pepper and saline towards the end. The finish is dry, and its flavors linger quite nicely. This Godello can certainly be enjoyed on its own. With food, I would pair it with a healthy garlic scallops' recipe. Enjoy - Ken
