Wine Review: This golden yellow colored Chardonnay opens with an oak influenced pineapple bouquet with hints of Bartlett pear. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with nicely integrate medium acidity. The mouthfeel is round and balanced. The flavor profile is similar to the nose. It features an oak influenced Bartlett pear and pineapple blend with notes of white pepper. I also detected some hints of honey, butterscotch, and nutmeg in the mix. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Chard is food friendly and would pair very nicely with a chicken and wild mushroom ravioli with a light butter cream sauce. Enjoy - Ken
