Wine Review: This deep yellow colored Chardonnay from Amici opens with a fragrant grilled pineapple and oak bouquet with hints of ripe apple. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, bold and rich. The flavor profile is a big and bold blend of pineapple, oak, pear, and apricot. I also detected some hints of spice and butter pecan in the mix. The finish is quite lengthy. This Chard paired perfectly with Stefano's homemade crab cakes over lobster mashed potatoes. Enjoy – Ken
