Wine Review: This opaque and deep purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Amici opens with a fragrant black currant and pomegranate bouquet with hints of blueberry, dark cocoa, and a touch of tobacco. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated plus acidity. The mouthfeel is well-balanced, smooth, and seamless. The flavor profile is a black currant and graphite blend with notes of dark chocolate and raspberry tea. We also detected hints of cinnamon, licorice, and tobacco. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity and moderate chewy tannins are nicely sustained. We would pair this excellent Cab with a grilled hanger steak. Enjoy - KWGTP

The nose opens with notes of cured meats, herbes de Provence, and lavender, layering aromatic complexity over the dark fruit core. On the palate, cocoa powder and cassis take the lead, supported by round, rich, velvety tannins and precise acidity that give the wine both depth and lift. Aged 19 months in 100% new French oak, this single-vineyard Cabernet marries power with refinement, promising excellent evolution in the cellar.
