Wine Review: This cloudy and dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Amici opens with a reserved cassis and leather bouquet with hints of black cherry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and a bit zesty. The flavor profile is a juicy black plum and cassis blend with notes of oak and black raspberry tea. I also detected hints of allspice, black pepper, and a touch of black licorice at the very end. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and moderate tannins stick around for a bit. We would decant this Cab for a while before pairing it with Stuart’s steak treats. Enjoy – Ken & Mark
