Wine Review: This dark red colored Grenache opens with a strawberry rhubarb bouquet with a hint of clove. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty strawberry and black plum blend with notes of clove and teaberry. I also detected hints of oak, stony minerality and red cherry licorice. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last for a while. I would prefer to drink this wine on its own. With food I would pair it with braised short ribs. Enjoy - Ken
