Wine Review: This medium ruby colored Pinot Noir opens with an unusual lime and pomegranate bouquet with hints of ruby grapefruit. This wine is medium plus bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is round and fruit forward. The flavor profile is mild pomegranate and green tea blend with notes of clementine and cherry. I also detected hints of lime and sage. The finish is dry, and its flavors linger and last for a while. This unique Pinot would pair well with veal saltimbocca with prosciutto and sage. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: The 2019 Amor Fati Pinot Noir is a micro-batch wine with an ultra-coastal voice. The cool growing conditions of the Santa Maria Valley deliver pure and focused fruit with layers of minerality. Pretty aromas of strawberry and rhubarb are supported by a lovely spice component from the Pommard clone. The palate is flush with refreshing acidity, revealing notes of strawberry and thyme on a elegantly balanced finish.
