Wine Review: This slightly opaque and very dark purple colored wine opens with a black cherry and ripe plum bouquet with hints of burnt caramel and espresso. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium acidity. We also found it to be a little juicy. The flavor profile is a blackberry, vanilla and light oak blend with notes of black plum and boysenberry. The finish is dry and its chewy dusty tannins linger and last for a while. The Panel thought this wine would be perfectly fine on its own. With food, steak frites would be a very good pairing. Enjoy - KWGTP
