Wine Review: This dark red and slightly opaque colored Mourvedre from Anarchy is very good. It opens with a very fragrant black cherry, black raspberry and smoked meat bouquet. We also detected a hint of heady anise. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, balanced, dense and juicy. The flavor profile is an extracted black raspberry and plum blend with notes of Grand Marnier and red cherry. We also detected some hints of dark chocolate that lingers. The finish is off-dry and its flavors faded away nicely. The Panel suggested enjoying the Mourvedre on its own with a cigar. If you prefer paring it with food, try it with dry rubbed ribs. Enjoy - KWGTP
