Wine Review: This Zinfandel from Anarchy is a cloudy and opaque dark garnet color. It opens with a fragrant pomegranate and black pepper bouquet with notes of red raspberry jam, black pepper and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, rich and round. The flavor profile is a stewed plum and pomegranate blend notes of raisin, molasses, cinnamon spice, oak, and strawberry licorice. The finish is dry and its fruit flavors, managed acidity and mild tannins drift away nicely. While there was a touch of heat in the end, it did not distract. We would pair this flavorful Zin with chicken tikka masala or grilled rosemary lamb. Enjoy – KWGTP
