Wine Review: This medium ruby colored Grenache from Anarchy opens with a red raspberry and dried strawberry bouquet with a hint of red currant. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth and juicy. The flavor profile is stewed black plum, black licorice, and black pepper blend with notes of stony minerality, ripe wild strawberry, clove, and mild oak. We also detected hints of black tea and red cherry in the background. The finish is dry, and its medium tannins stick around for a very long time.
