Wine Review: This slightly opaque and medium ruby colored red blend opens with an attractive saddle leather and dried strawberry bouquet with hints of red plum, cinnamon and red raspberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, soft, smooth, and fresh. The flavor profile is dried strawberry and pomegranate blend with notes cedar and lingonberry. We also detected hints black tea, white pepper, and chocolate. The finish is dry, and its flavors and dusty mild tannins linger for quite a while. The Tasting Panel would pair this food friendly red blend with a filet mignon or with a Tuscan grilled veal chop. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Nose: Dark berry fruit with strawberry, pepper, boysenberry, and creamy spices highlighted with pepper and clove.
Palate: Dark berry fruit takes you deep. boysenberry and blackberry go low with high notes of strawberry. Silky mid-palate tannins are laced with anise, provincial herb, and exotic spices that trail into a creamy caramel oak finish. A deep and pondering wine that will tell you a story.
