Wine Review: This opaque midnight purple colored Petite Sirah from Anarchy opens with a black raspberry and peonies bouquet with hints of black licorice. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, velvety, and seamless. The flavor profile is blackberry and fig blend with notes of cherry-cola and stewed plum. We also detected hints of blueberry. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and well-managed refined tannins are nicely sustained. We would pair this Petite Sirah with a venison steak. Enjoy – Ken & Mark
