Wine Review: This straw colored Chardonnay from Oregon opens with a very fragrant pineapple and lemon bouquet with hints of green apple and dried coconut flakes. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is fresh, bright, and mouthwatering for a Chard. The flavor profile is a green apple, saline and stony minerality blend with notes of lemon zest and coconut. I also detected hints of almond and pineapple. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. I would pair this Chard with a chilled seafood tower. Especially the crab. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Apricot, golden raisin, honeycomb and apple make up the fragrance of this elegant wine. The texture is remarkable, featuring the flinty, slightly waxy, basalt-kissed makeup we’ve grown to love and expect from Chardonnay grown in the appellation. The palate is layered, beginning with lemon and dried mango, and leading to notes of brioche and kiwi. A juicy strand of acidity runs throughout, giving the wine a radiant quality that lights up the glass.
