Wine Review: This very pale straw colored Pinot Gris from Archery Summit opens with an Anjou pear and wet stone bouquet with a hint of honeydew melon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and very bright. The flavor profile is green apple and white nectarine blend with notes of lemon verbena, stony minerality, and Anjou pear. I also detected a hint of ginger. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. This Pinot Gris would pair well with garlic chicken. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: This wine bursts from the glass, with zesty grapefruit followed by fresh and floral aromatics. The juicy acidity plays a major role, bringing balance to the wine and perfectly offsetting the salinity. Combining ripe orchard fruit and a touch of sea breeze, the 2022 Vireton Pinot Gris is crisp, lively, and tremendously refreshing.
