Wine Review: This light yellow colored Rhone styled blend from Arrowood is an impressive white blend. It opens with a mild ripe green apple bouquet with a hint of anise. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, nicely balanced and displays a pleasant round mouth feel. The flavor profile is a very tasty Bosc Pear with notes of anise spice. I also detected hints of minerality and white pepper towards to end. The finish is a crispy dry style and lingers for a little while after the wine is gone. This wine is food friendly and would pair well linguine in a white wine clam sauce. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The nose is a complex mix of floral and tropical aromatics. In the mouth, flavors of peach, pineapple and pear mix with the aromas to create an incredible sensory experience. Because the wine was fermented in seasoned oak barrels, the oak acts as a subtle spice backdrop for the tropical flavors, smooth texture and crisp finish.
