Wine Review: This very dark purple colored Grenache from Spain was well received by friends at dinner at Eastern Standard Restaurant in Boston. It opens with a mild spicy black raspberry bouquet with a hint of blueberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, well balanced, and silky. The flavor profile is a blend of black raspberry and black currant with notes of black licorice mixed in. The finish is dry, tingly, but brief. This wine was very approachable and easy to drink. It went perfectly with our meatloaf special. Our guests really enjoyed this Very Good wine. Enjoy - Ken
