Wine Review: This dark yellow colored Chardonnay from Au Bon Climate is Excellent! It opens with a fragrant and inviting pear and mild wet stone bouquet with a hint of butter. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, rich and wonderfully coats your mouth. The flavor profile is a delicious ripe pear with notes of gentle minerality and oak. I also detected hints of light lemon and butter. The finish is dry and its flavors are long and lingering. This Chardonnay is wonderful on its own. With food it would be perfect with lobster with drawn butter. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: A beautifully balanced Chard. Lovely aromas of apricot, lavender and caramel ebb into bright flavors of lemon-lime, and a fresh, spicy finish with vanilla, clove and honeydew melon. The richness and texture are increasing in the bottle.
