Wine Review: This yellow colored Chardonnay from the Bien Nacido Vineyard is very good. It opens with a lemon custard bouquet with a hint of mustard seed. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and round. Like the nose, the flavor profile is a light lemon custard tart with hints of pineapple, butter, minerality and gentle oak. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. This Chard would pair well with chicken francese. Enjoy - Ken
