Wine Review: This light red colored Pinot Noir from Au Bon Climat is impressive. It opens with an attractive Teaberry gum bouquet with hints of black cherry, cinnamon, and leather. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and round. The flavor profile is a tasty teaberry, red cherry, and cinnamon blend with notes of mushroom and oolong tea. I also detected hints of red plum and mild minerality. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. This Pinot Noir is food friendly and would pair well with veal marsala. Enjoy - Ken
