Wine Review: This medium gold colored Chardonnay opens with a mild pineapple and Meyer lemon bouquet with a hint of flaky fresh baked pastry dough and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, balanced, round and creamy. The flavor profile is a toasty oak influenced pineapple and baked golden delicious apple blend with notes of honey and apricot. We also detected some hints of vanilla and nutmeg mixed in. The finish is pleasant and drifts away nicely. This Chard would pair nicely with a chicken and mushroom risotto. Enjoy – Ken and Steve

Winemaker Notes: Great value! This barrel fermented, full bodied Chardonnay has mouth filling citrus fruit and a palate cleansing, bright finish. It will become richer and more complex with age.
