Wine Review: This light gold colored Chardonnay from Au Bon Climat is very good. It opens with a toasted coconut and oak bouquet with hints of grilled pineapple and pear in the background. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and bright. The flavor profile is a tasty pear, pineapple, and butterscotch blend with notes of oak and vanilla. The finish drifts away nicely. This Chard paired perfectly with Stefano's homemade crab cakes over lobster mashed potatoes. Enjoy - Ken
