Wine Review: This golden yellow colored Chardonnay from Auvigue opens with a baked pear and toasted oak bouquet with hints of honey. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and rich. The flavor profile is grilled pineapple and toasted oak blend with notes of poached peach and almond butter. I also detected hints of saline, vanilla, and honey. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger nicely. I would pair this Chardonnay with a warm toasted lobster roll. Enjoy - Ken
