Wine Review: This quaffable, Sangiovese dominant Rosé from Lodi is medium salmon colored, and offers aromas of red cherry, nectarine, watermelon, wet stone, and some light floral and celery hints. On the palate, it is medium bodied with plus acidity. It displays a lively and crisp mouthfeel and good balance. There are flavors of ripe nectarine, red grapefruit, raspberry tea, and a note of dried herbs. The finish is brisk, dry, and mineral driven. Serve lightly chilled. This food friendly Rosé will complement a wide variety of foods, especially a weeknight rotisserie chicken and Caesar salad. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: To truly appreciate this vintage you really must take a good look at the hue. This is about as close to perfect as we have come, a pale, electric, salmon pink rosé that shows its true color. The nose full of bright aromas of raspberry sorbet, hibiscus, and (surprise!) freshly sliced cucumber. The texture is refreshing and delightful, revealing flavors of fresh strawberry, stone fruit, and a touch of melon rind.
