Wine Review: This Chardonnay offering from B.R. Cohn is pale straw in color and opens with a shy pear bouquet that includes butterscotch, wet stone and earthy undertones. I also detected hints of baking spices and oak. The body was light to medium and the mouthfeel is soft, smooth and slightly dry. I enjoyed the flavor profile featuring apricots, citrus and hints of butter and oak with some nicely balanced acidity. The finish was also slightly dry with a touch of minerality. I found this Russian River Chard to be food friendly and I would pair it with linguine with a white clam sauce. – Joe
