Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Balletto opens with a fragrant red currant and black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is an old oak influenced black plum with notes of minerality, pomegranate and red currant. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Pinot would pair well with a pork tenderloin with fig sauce. Enjoy – Ken
