Wine Review: This opaque and very dark purple colored wine opens with a mild blackberry and gentle black cherry bouquet with a hint of oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty plum and gentle black cherry with notes of nicely integrated oak. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are nicely prolonged. This wine would pair very well with slow cooked beef brisket. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Deep red color, with mild garnet nuances. Very complex aroma on the nose, with initial notes of plum jam and a balsamic note, followed quickly by spicy hints of tobacco and coffee. On the palate the structure is powerful, warm and soft, with ripe tannins that give the wine body and length. Enjoyable now yet endowed with great aging potential.
