Wine Review: This dark red colored sparkler opens with a mild vanilla cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is effervescent, pleasantly sweet and has a pleasant mouthfeel. The flavor profile is a sweet red cherry with hints of ripe plum and pomegranate. The finish remains sweet and its flavors linger nicely after the wine is gone. I would serve this fun sparkling wine at the beginning of your party and watch everyone enjoy it and it will disappear quickly. Cheers - Ken

Winemaker Notes: A soft red sparkling wine, made from Brachetto. This extremely aromatic, complex and historical grape variety grows only in the area of Acqui Terme, in Southern Piedmont. Its color is light ruby red. Its bouquet is intense, aromatic, varietal with hints of Bulgarian rose. It displays soft and elegant berry flavours and a touch of almond and nutmeg. This wine matches perfectly with fresh strawberries, fruit cakes, fruit salads, pastries and chocolates. An ideal aperitif as well.
