Wine Review: This ruby colored Chianti Classico Riserva from Banfi opens with a faint black cherry and cedar bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced. The flavor profile is a mild cedar and gentle black cherry blend with hints of plum and cinnamon. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are nicely extended. This wine would be a friendly glass pour. It is food friendly and would pair well with a juicy burger. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Color: Deep ruby-red.
Bouquet: Rich with notes of cherries, plums, and iris.
Taste: Deep cherry and leather flavors with subtle wood notes. Supple tannins, good acidity and a lingering finish.
